Bulk processing FAQ

Does this check a whole website or individual pages?

The tool estimates the number of indexed pages for a domain using site: searches in Google and Yandex. Each domain/engine pair has a separate result. Entering a URL with a path still checks its domain.

It does not check the index status of every URL or export the entire index. Use the Page Indexation Checker for specific page URLs. Bulk domain counts help compare sites and identify changes that warrant investigation.

How do I prepare a domain list?

Enter one domain per line, such as example.com and example.org, or supply website URLs. Uploads accept UTF-8 TXT, CSV or TSV files up to 256 KB. Tabular files have one Domain or URL column; a sample is available in the form.

URL paths are removed, domain names are normalized, and duplicate domains are combined. Internationalized domains are supported. One batch accepts up to 500 unique domains, subject to your available limits.

Can Google and Yandex be checked together?

Select both engines in the form. Each domain is checked once in Google and once in Yandex; the estimates are not added together or averaged. The table and CSV identify the engine for every result.

Uncheck an engine if you only need the other one. The cost changes immediately: two domains in both engines produce four checks, while the same list in one engine produces two.

Why are counts approximate, and why do engines disagree?

A site: count is an estimate that can change and need not match the URL count in your sitemap or webmaster reports. Google and Yandex crawl and process websites differently, so matching counts are not expected.

A zero estimate does not prove that every page is excluded from the index. Investigate site availability, robots.txt, noindex and canonical URLs, then check important page URLs individually. Treat this count as a diagnostic signal rather than a complete inventory.

Why does bulk mode use limits, and how much does it cost?

The single-domain check remains available without debiting the shared balance. Bulk mode reserves 1 limit per domain in one engine. Twenty domains in Google need up to 20 limits; the same list in both engines needs up to 40.

The launch button updates as you change domains or engines. A Google check still costs one limit when a fallback source is needed. Completed cache hits return the corresponding reservation.

How do I download results or recover failed checks?

The batch processes in the background. Each table row shows its domain, engine, approximate count, status and check time. Download CSV to compare domains or continue your analysis elsewhere.

Completed rows are retained, and failed rows can be retried separately at the displayed cost. Stopping returns limits for unstarted checks. History retains account batches for 30 days and guest batches for 7 days; guests need the same browser and saved cookies.
