The UTM Builder adds standardized campaign parameters to a destination URL so visits can be grouped in analytics systems. Source identifies where traffic originates, medium describes the channel, campaign names the initiative, and optional term or content values distinguish targeting and creative variants. Consistent naming makes cross-channel reports easier to compare.
Enter the landing page and campaign values to generate the tagged URL, then test that it opens the intended page and records correctly. Establish lowercase naming rules before launching, avoid personal or confidential information in parameters, and do not tag ordinary internal links because doing so can overwrite the visitor’s original acquisition data and fragment reports.
